2006 Schedules Released

The schedules for 2006 have been released, with the regular season opening on Thursday, September 7th and culminating with American Bowl XV on Sunday, December 17th.
This season's schedule also includes a preseason weekend that features a rematch of the last two championship games between the Novato Firesouls and Arizona Hellcats. The Detroit Enforcers play their first game since 1997, playing host to the Rhode Island Riddlers.
Week 1 features a matchup of the league's oldest teams when the New York Knights host the Washington Warriors. The Novato Firesouls begin their defense of their second straight title playing host to the Portland Pirates
Other division rivalries to keep an eye on includes Knights-Riddlers and Hellcats-Quasimodos in weeks 9 and 12, and Pirates-Lightning in weeks 3 and 7.
